Una Chica

I don't sleep like a normal person. Ever since I was about 12 or 13, I have had odd sleeping patterns. When my boys were babies, it changed a little bit. obviously, but not much. Once they would get on normal sleeping schedules, no matter what I did, mine would always revert back to it's odd pattern. I can go up to 3 days with no sleep or just a couple of hours if I'm lucky to get that much. I try to go to sleep, I really do. It doesn't matter what time I lay down or how bad I want it, I just end up laying there thinking about tons of stuff. For hours. It's pointless and it drives me batty.

The one good thing to come out of it is that my husband is impressed with my super-human ability.

Okay, there's another good thing about it. Maybe. It's subjective. I get to watch tons of interesting TV shows & movies to while away the time. Oh - and listen to great music as well!

I really wish the iPhone had categories in it's address book. My life would be so much easier if it did. Between my iPhone, my 8125 and Microsoft Outlook, it's a daunting task thinking about trying to organize the resulting mess. Please, Apple ... Make this happen in a future update! I love my iPhone, but this sucks!

Woke up this morning with a bad crick in my neck. Chris had to sleep on the couch and I had to sleep in the recliner. The boys had some medical gloves filled with water yesterday and I told them to keep them outside. Well, needless to say, they snuck them into the house last night and broke one of them all over my bed. It was soaked. It just would not dry for some reason.

Watched The Price Is Right this morning. That is one of my favorite shows from when I was a little girl. I don't watch it often because I don't want to lose the special fuzzy feeling I get when I watch it. I know that sounds corny, but when I think about something from my childhood or remember something from that time period, there is a certain feeling that goes with it. And that show is one of those. It personifies my childhood mornings. It's a special time when I watch it. =)

My sister and her husband came over here last night with all of their naughty clothes. Chris really wants to buy some. He couldn't make up his mind. (LoL) He told her to let him think about what he wants to buy, then he'll call her. I just wish he would have bought the cute stuff. That's more my style than his. wot to do, wot to do ... cute vs sexy ... hmmm

Gotta go up to the city today to pick up the bike. Gonna bring it home and see what hits it gets. We've gotten a few calls about it, but we are leery of selling it to someone who hasn't ridden. This one lady called and wanted to buy it for her husband who is stationed over in Iraq. He's never ridden a bike before, but she wanted to get him something special for when he comes back home. That's great, but this isn't a beginner's bike. I hope she finds one better suited for a first-timer.

We're also gonna go out to the land and take a peek at the progress. I want to see the markers they've laid out. This isn't moving fast enough for me, but we want it done right, so time is not the important factor here.

I'm rich rich rich. lol
Woke up today and I have money in my paypal account. I've been waiting for a payment from someone to clear for several days now and it's finally done. I really should transfer it to my bank account. Will I? hmm... should is the keyword there. Oh, ebay...

I think my hubby is going through 'the change'. It's weird. He hasn't been ironing his clothes, waking up ridiculously early or shaving with an eye for detail since he went back to work after his vacation. I think the poor guy needs to readjust his schedule. It's skeering me!

Where is my husband? I'll pay the ransom! Just bring him back!

What a week. Spring Break is over. So is Chris' vacation. :(
We've gotten a lot done though. I'm sure gonna miss all of my boys when they start back to school and work tomorrow. I'll be on my own. Again. All alone.

Not sure how I feel. On the one hand, it's been a crazy week and I can't wait until we get back on our normal schedules. But on the other, it was just wonderful being able to all spend so much time together. We've all enjoyed it. And I'm sure we'll all miss it.

I just wish I could have spent more time with my hubby. With all the stuff we had going on, it was touch & go. It also didn't help that my own schedule didn't adjust to having them all home at once. I regret that. I am so used to staying up at night. Then sleeping when they all leave. Then waking up when the boys get home for school. And starting my day. It's been my schedule for a couple of years now. For those that know me, it is self-explanatory. For those that don't, it's hard to explain. But it's my life. And I wish I could have changed it this once. For the whole week. You can't get back lost time. :(

I'm thankful for my family. Each and every one of them! I hope they know it. -hugs & kisses-

Spent the day around the house today. First time all week, I think. Chris did a very thorough job on the house. Vacuumed all but our room and the office. I'm telling you, it's been hard to do anything around here with all the boxes packed up for moving. They were in every room! He took the futon that was in the boys gameroom and tossed it. Before doing so, he used the framed slats to make extra support beams for their beds. He also consolidated all of those boxes (packed & unpacked) into one room, the gameroom. You can actually see our living room now. It looks bare, since I've pretty much packed almost all of it. LoL But it looks so nice!

Chris also put my CD-Writer back in my tower for my old pc. Now I can call Dave and have him help me fix the error I'm getting with the floppy drive on startup. ugh
I can't wait til we can use that pc again! We need more than the one around here, with 5 of us.

Took the boyos to see Torque tonight. I must say, I wasn't that thrilled about going, but it was okay. A great night spent with just the 5 of us and no running around or fighting.

I watched this show last night on HBO. It was called Shock Video 2. It was about, ummm, sex.

In Japan, they hold a King of Cream contest. Who can cum the most. There are a bunch of girls that help in the process. ahem. They are called 'cum catchers'.

Well, the appt.'s went well. I had 3 fillings. (ugh) My mouth was numb forever!

As I thought, C. caught a cold and is on antibiotics to treat it. He's also on benadryl until he's over the cold, then the doc is gonna do some more tests to see what's going on with his breathing. He said he believes it's allergies, though. great. Chris has allergies and they are no fun!

Didn't make it to KidSpace today. The boyos got to ride their toys, though. So they're pooped. D. is not happy with me. I'm beat and told him his little friend, Danny, couldn't stay the night, but he decided to ask Danny's mom anyway. So I had to say 'no' again. He'll love me tomorrow. Tonight I need peace and quiet. LoL

Well, I didn't get any posts moved from my site last night. I turned my pc over to hubby so he could play bg for a while and I like to never got it back. Had to restrain myself to keep from coming in here and tossing his butt outta my chair. LoL

So... will try today.

I've got a dr. and dentist appt. and I've got to have my collarbone checked out because it hurts every time I take a deep breath or cough. I don't know what is going on, but it has been hurting for a couple of months now. grrr

I've also got to take C. to the dr. today. He's having a hard time breathing and we think he has allergies. I don't know if they'll be able to come to a conclusion on that today b/c I think he's getting sick right now. His ear hurts and he's coughing quite a bit. So they'll probably treat him for that and then tell me to bring him back to see what's going on with his breathing when he is well again. I just know he's had problems breathing for a long time now. He's never really complained about it, just comments in passing, but I think I need to have him seen. See what is going on.

Chris has to go to another Planning Commission Meeting today. He's going to take I. & D. with him so I don't have to try to handle all of them at the dr's with me. I thought he'd be home today, so I didn't arrange for a sitter. :( (But how nice of him to help cover it!)

D. wants to go to KidSpace park today, so we're gonna try to squeeze that into our busy day. :)

kk ... I'm going to bed, else I'll never get to the dr. today! (stayed up way too late getting caught up on my recorded programs *eek*)

footnote :: Chris and I have decided to set up a game plan for Moto Crossing for the boys. D. really wants to get into it and I. talks about it quite a bit. Not sure if it will happen with I., but he's turning into quite the little MotoCrosser on that thing! We got them another helmet and gloves yesterday. Blue to match the bike. And the boys settled on the #7 for the bike, so Chris picked up some stickers for it and they're on. Anyhoo, what a scary thought. We watched Moto Cross tonight. I think I'll faint if it ever happens. They go sooo fast! And D. is fearless. I have no doubts that boy will put his whole heart into it. If they want to do it, I'm all for it!! SIS-BOOM-BAH!!

Hubby wanted me to go to the Yamaha shop with him. I told him nope. He said I'd do good in prison b/c I like being confined to a small space (i.e., the house). Not. I have a legitimate excuse today. I have been hanging around the house and I have flowered panties on with white sweat pants. Too lazy to change just to go to the bike shop. LoL

Can't see myself having the mailing address of 'Cell Block J'.

Oh yeah, he also said "And don't think of knocking me off to get there!". hahaha

I can't get motivated. I just can't seem to be able to motivate myself to do anything today. I feel crappy. I feel blah. I wanna go back to bed. 'nuff said.

hmm.. oh yeah, I have the 10pm tourney tonight. Wonder if someone will be nice enough to do it for me? Or maybe it'll revive me. We'll see.

Well, everyone will be home this next week. The boys are on spring break until the 22nd and Chris is on vacation until the 22nd as well. They're gonna drive me even more batty than I already am! hahaha

No, seriously, we're all looking forward to some quality family time. It's been a while and I think we need it. The boys will be involved in the SAC & FOX Nation Spring Fest. That should be fun. Hopefully, Chris & I can knock out some of the sorting to get ready for our big move. I've also got to go to the dentist & dr. this week. Not looking forward to that!

Broke my toe tonight

Was walking through my living room tonight and slammed my foot against the leg of my gossip bench. Boy did it hurt. It feels soooo cold. I hate broken toes. This is the second time I've broken anything, ever. Broke the same toe in '97. I'm so clumsy. :-|
