Went to Lowe's today. Selected the paint color for the outside of our house. We chose Cliveden Leather, the first sample swatch below. It will be the main color. The lighter cream beside it is the color around the entry part of the house. The burgundy is the trim.


I'm just so disgusted with the results of the first paint job. Pearl Shaker, indeed. They had better get it right this time!

I also picked up a few color group swatches (by Signature), including little pamphlets showing rooms done in matching themes of the swatches. I'm so excited. Pretty soon we'll be able to move into our new home and start the fun stuff. Giving it our own personal flavour. Character details.

Our request for a conditional use permit has been approved!!

It even made today's paper.

The Planning Commission voted 5-0 to recommend approval for a conditional use permit for a second Rainbow manufactured home at 31820, owned by Chris Kovach family, which has been waiting since December to be able to move in because of permit problems.

The application was approved subject to the appropriate building codes being adhered to.

Dixon said the Kovach home, which has already been premanufactured, could be in place as soon as two to three weeks if the city commission gives its approval Apri 5.
